The Greater Washington Government Contractor Award is the premier event honoring the leadership, innovation, and commitment to excellence of the people and businesses in the region’s government contracting community.
Presented by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Services Council (PSC), the Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards winners are announced at an evening gala, which has been dubbed the "Academy Awards of Government Contracting". This unique networking event draws more than 1,000 industry and government leaders.

The Distinguished Service Awards honors those who have made meaningful contributions to help Veterans succeed. The award categories include:
Award Categories:
Veteran-Owned Business of the Year – Businesses that have demonstrated positive business performance and are poised for future success.
- Emerging Business (Less than 5 years in business)
- Maturing Business (between 5 and 10 years in business)
- Established Business (more than 10 years in business)
Veteran Service Organization of the Year – An organization or agency that has made meaningful contributions to support, mentor and positively integrate veteran entrepreneurs and/or veteran-owned businesses into the community in the Greater Washington region.
Veteran Employee of the Year – A person who has made meaningful impact to their company and/or community in support and service of Veterans and/or Veteran families in the National Capital Region.
